Keith Depies joined Roberts, Ritschke & Tyczkowski in 2005 and became a shareholder of the firm in 2010. As a 1990 graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater, with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, Keith began his career with a local firm in Milwaukee. He then spent ten years working for a large international accounting firm in the Fox Valley before joining Roberts, Ritschke & Tyczkowski.
Keith demonstrates a passion for assisting clients in growing their net worth by reviewing long term goals. Keith carries out this objective by introducing simple, straight forward planning ideas that avoid unnecessary complexity and costs. He has a diverse tax background and works with family owned businesses with an emphasis in pass-through partnerships and S-corporations. Keith also spends time assisting individuals with estate and charitable planning techniques and helping clients to meet the associated estate and trust filing requirements.
Professionally, Keith is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (Tax Section), Fox Valley Estate Planning Council, and the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Keith currently serves on the board of the recently formed St. Mary Catholic Schools Foundation. He has served on various committees including his parish council and has been involved in various youth coaching activities. Keith served on the executive committee as Treasurer and Vice Chair of the Community Foundation of the Fox Valley Region and chaired the Audit and Budget Committee of the organization.
Family is a very important part of Keith’s life. He and his wife, Kathy, a retired kindergarten teacher, have two sons currently in college. Keith spends as much time as he can on the water, skiing and fishing at their cottage. He also enjoys an occasional round of golf or getting his hands dirty in the garden. Keith will also take the opportunity to enjoy a Brewer, Packer, or college basketball game.
Keith’s responsiveness, along with his organization skills, gives him the tools to bring valuable resources and proactive ideas to help clients achieve their long-term financial goals. Whether it is planning for cash flow, retirement funding or estate and legacy planning clients of the firm are provided the satisfaction that they will be taken care of and given the special attention each of them deserves.
