Jack Marx joined Roberts, Ritschke and Tyczkowski in a full time capacity in the fall of 2019 after 2 years of tax season interning. Jack graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point with a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Economics and received his accounting certificate from the University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh.
Jack’s professional career began as a personal banker with Wells Fargo Bank. While there Jack specialized in assisting customers in meeting financial goals through the use of consumer loans and investment vehicles personally tailored to the client’s individual need.
Jack’s journey then took him to Alaska where he has spent 8 summers serving as a charter fishing guide and captain in Sitka for Alaska Premier Charters. From May to September Jack would take clients of the lodge out onto the Pacific Ocean in search of all 5 species of salmon, halibut and bottom fish. The seasonality of the job allowed Jack to complete his schooling for accounting and serve as a tax season intern with the firm.
Jack handles matters dealing with individual, corporate and trust tax returns as well as general accounting and book keeping services. With his background, Jack brings a high level of customer service and attention to detail to each of the clients he assists and projects he works on. Jack believes in a straight forward and transparent process in all facets of accounting that leaves the client’s needs satisfied.
In his free time, Jack can be found in the woods and lakes of central Wisconsin hunting and fishing. He also enjoys traveling with his wife, Nikki and spending quality time with newborn son, Leo.
